Our client, located in Reston VA, is seeking a Junior .Net Developer. Specific work elements of the job include: developing applications according to specifications; participation in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, designing and evaluating web or client applications; developing a timeline for projects; communications with business areas and project team members; keeping up-to-date with web and client applications; and performing system support and related duties as assigned.

The following skills, knowledge and experience are required for this position unless noted otherwise:
• Degree and/or combined education and experience with no less than one year of development work
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/10, Microsoft Windows Dll/Driver development and database programming
• Advanced knowledge in ASP.NET programming, C#, Visual Basic.Net, JavaScript, HTML, Javascript, Classic ASP, Microsoft .NET frameworks 2 to 4
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases including complex queries, stored procedures, views and triggers
• Experience with video and web-based technologies
• Familiarity with Windows OS functionality, file systems and structures, SMTP, VPN
• Proven time management and organizational skills
• Polished written/verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
