July 12th, CentreIT and Tier Centric Team
This July will expand CentreITs offerings, through its subsidiary division, TierCentric, to provide high performance Infrastructure and Hardware services to locations nationwide with added remote offices in DC, Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, Illinois, Texas, California, and Mississippi. Together the CEOs have over 50 years of Government Service in over 40 agencies.

CentreIT Corporation(http://www.centreit.com), a woman owned, 8A(pending) business and TierCentric Corporation (http://www.tiercentric.com), a veteran owned, 8A (pending) business have joined forces to provide a total solution for our customers. In addition, we have jointly designed the DMACH SDC product line to provide the highest performance SAN/SSD solution for our SMB, Government, and Commercial customers.

On database performance tuning, Robyn Jones, founder and CEO of CentreIT states “We are very excited that we can now expand to provide SAN and customize hardware solutions and installations for our data customers giving us the ability to tune the total system. Tier Centric’s top engineers can install and train clients in leading technologies including high end controllers, switches, RAID, hybrids and solid state solutions. Our joint team provides extreme performance for clients in Business Objects, Cognos, Crystal, Peoplesoft, SAP, Merrin, Eagle Pace, and more. Now we can add the hardware and provide the full integration of the product and make it run much faster than conventional implementations. CentreIT and TierCentric have created the first ever training course in SAN/SSD Technology and Performance tuning of applications using this technology. We are quickly being seen as the expert integrator in this field.”

According to Ervin Suarez, founder and CEO of Tier Centric states, “With CentreIT we can expand on integration with our hardware customers. We can also provide disaster recovery at low rates so that any customer can have volatile files stored outside of their facility. <add more here evin>”.

Ms. Jones goes on to say that “With Tier Centric, we can expand our performance solutions into the hardware arena for clients at all levels. Our pricing models for our high performance DMACH products and teaming SSD partners provides cost effective solutions for applications in SMBs to high end Intel, Health, Financial customers needing high transaction rates.

July 12th, 2008 - CentreIT and TiGi Collaborate
This July will see the teaming of two leading companies in their respective fields to release the high performance Solid State data solutions.

TiGi Corporation [description] (http://www.tigicorp.com) and CentreIT Corporation(http://www.centreit.com) ; large database and data warehouse implementation and performance specialists, had begun work in early January 2006 based on client needs to dramatically reduce the time that standard database processes were taking as well as provide the next generation of solid state SAN storage solutions.

According to Tigi’s CEO, Leroy Hand “This is a great partnership for us and our customers. We were already creating configurations with our industry leading Solid State storage to dramatically improve throughput for application environments. When CentreIT came to us with the proposal to expand the use of solid state into over 20 applications including databases, financial, infrastructure, and trading applications coupled with their database performance expertise and high performance SAN solution; a partnership to deliver and integrate this type of performance solution based on hardware and database tuning expertise excited us”.

Performance testing results from the beginning of 2006 on the SAN and Solid State solutions have yielded outstanding results and indicate substantial improvements for medium and enterprise level database environments as well as multiple applications including Exchange, IIS, Business Objects, Peoplesoft, and SAP. The majority of these environments routinely experience substantial delays in all aspects of the database including data load, backup, restore and application access.

On database performance tuning, Robyn Jones, founder and CEO of CentreIT states “We are very excited with initial results using TiGi solid state systems alone and with SAN solutions. Historically, CentreIT’s methods of software based performance tuning have yielded substantial performance improvement on many of the largest database and data warehouse clients internationally. We have routinely taken jobs from hours down to minutes for many customers. Our clients can now have the speed to support their growing terabyte and petabyte databases. We now also have options to improve our application performance for many packages such as SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials, Business Objects, and many more.”

Based on our testing with the TiGi Rockets, we know that we can increase this exponentially and are very pleased to be working with TiGi to bring this to market”.

Ms. Jones goes on to say that “We feel that “just adding hardware” to increase speed has always been limiting for our customers. With the huge increase in database size and application access requirements that we have seen over the last few years we feel that the time is right now for an integrated “hardware and tuning” solution to database performance as opposed to the separate disciplines that have been the industry norm.” Now we can expand our performance to near real-time for database recovery and transaction processing which has great benefits in the Intel, Health, and Financial sectors.

TiGi is already seeing, in many cases, up to 2000% performance improvement on all of the databases that have been tested with the hardware. This would average out for example for a 10 hour process down to less than an hour. “With the database performance tuning added, we are routinely seeing minutes for these types of processes”.

With the first national Solid State/SAN Performance Tuning course, CentreIT can provide onsite training to educate clients in the integration and benefits of Solid State technology for applications and databases.
